Happy Friday! It's time for a new challenge at Stamp Something, and this week, we are challenging you to make something pink. We're being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique, so be sure to pop on over to the Stamp Something challenge blog to see what you could win if you join us this week!
Tracey at The Stamping Boutique, was kind enough to let the DT each chose an image to play with for this weeks challenge. I picked "freeing the fairy". Peter Pan was one of my favorite stories when I was little, and this image makes me think of many happy hours spent pouring over my Peter Pan story book.
I had the bubble layout all planned in my head before I printed the image, so I separated the girl and the fairy to give me enough room around each to cut them out with a circle nestabilities die. The images were colored with copic markers, and have plenty of stardust stickles added for lots of sparkle.
I decided to keep the layout nice and simple so as not to overwhelm the image. The pretty pink designer paper is from my scrap pile. This is my last piece, and I can't remember who made it so I can buy some more. Waa!
